When I was a kid and we'd go on road trips, we'd play License Plate Bingo as we drove along (or the Alphabet Game with License Plates, but that's a whole other story!). Since all three of your hostesses have recently gone on vacation, and are working on your matches, I thought I'd put together a bit of a Virtual version of this game for us to play! There will be a prize involved for Bingo! And as time allows, there may be more than one game.
Here's how it works:
- You will need to email your 'bingo card' to virtualvacationswap at yahoo dot com, including 5 US States, Canadian Provinces and/or Foreign Countries for B, I, G and O, and 4 for N, since it has a free spot. (Visualize a bingo card!)
- The order listed DOES matter, just as it does in bingo!
- Each day, I will post TWO Vacation Destinations, and you can mark them on your 'card' if you have those Destinations - by finding a person's blog who has that Destination!
- You do not have to email us the corresponding blogs - just send your Vacation Destinations. If you get Bingo, however, you will need to post the blog URLs or email them to us to win.
- First person(s) to get a straight (vertical or horizontal) or diagonal Bingo wins!
- YOU will be responsible for emailing us or putting a comment on that day's destinations to let us know you have bingo and to give us the list of blogs corresponding to your destinations! Jessi will then confirm it against the 'card' you emailed in to us to verify the winner.

If I called Alaska, Germany, Washington, California and Louisiana, you would have bingo in a horizontal row across the top. (If it helps, write your states into a little card like the one linked above!)
If I called Alaska, Colorado, New Hampshire and Ohio, you'd also have a bingo - a diagonal bingo using the FREE space in the N row.
Rules and Such
- You MUST email in your bingo card to be a part of this contest.
- Only Jessi will be logging in to see who is entered, so I will not know who has what on their cards - thus making it totally random when I call out Vacation Destinations each day.
- YOU must let us know if you get Bingo. A comment on that day's destinations is fine, as is an email to the same address you send your card.
- The idea here is for folks to get to know each other better, thus asking you to find a blog that matches up with the State/Province/Country you have chosen.
- There CAN be more than one correct blog for a particular destination, given that we have several folks living in the same states and such!
- It IS possible for more than one person to win, and that's just fine!
- You CAN call your bingo "late", just know that you might not be the only person anymore if another set of Vacation Destinations has been called.
- I will post a list of participating destinations here momentarily so that everything on your cards at least has a chance of being called ;)
- You have until Tuesday at Midnight EDT to send in your cards - the first set of Destinations will be posted on Wednesday morning.
